The hamlet of Tremezzo is home to one of Lake Como’s most famous villas, Villa Carlotta. The villa – which has its own pier along the Como-Colico route provided by the local public boat service – has neoclassical features and is surrounded by a vast terraced garden, where you can spend much of the day without the risk of getting bored. Very nice, varied route over an old railway line. Just cycle there and back, both fun! The signage sometimes takes some time to find, but don't let that discourage you. The lake is magical. We cycled with an ebike.
