In Monza Park, you can admire this small neoclassical temple, reflected in the pond of the Royal Gardens. Designed by architect Piermarini in the second half of the 18th century and built at the behest of Maria Theresa of Austria, it has a circular shape with a rectangular portico. Recently, after vandalism and a period of neglect, it was restored and repainted, restoring it to its original beauty and making it one of the park's symbols.

Villa Mirabello, a wonderful example of 17th-century architecture and residence, was built in the mid-17th century by the Durini family, who had purchased the fiefdom of Monza in 1648. The Durinis built a beautiful villa, with large halls for parties and receptions, named "Mirabello." Its U-shaped structure, open to the river landscape and featuring a courtyard, is of great structural significance, as it marks the transition from the typology of the walled country palace, typical of the 15th and 16th centuries, to the new concept of the palace-villa opening onto a scenic garden or park.

The Mulini Asciutti Mill Complex houses an ancient mill and is one of the various artifacts linked to agricultural production built at the beginning of the nineteenth century with the birth of the Monza Park. Designed by Giacomo Tazzini in 1833, it was built after demolishing a mill that had already been present in the area since the seventeenth century. The Mulini Asciutti complex is crossed by the supply canal derived from the Lambro river at the height of today's Osteria del Dosso and is characterized by a strong symmetrical design. Two parallel buildings arranged along the central axis of the Mulini Asciutti canal house the mill rooms on the ground floor, each of which houses three stone millstones. Also symmetrical with respect to the east-west axis determined by the course of the canal, there are two buildings once used as a warehouse/stable and barn, characterized by large brick arches.

The environmental and sustainability education courses offered at the Mulini Asciutti center in the Park of the Royal Palace of Monza offer teachers and students the opportunity to live an outdoor learning experience. Outdoor learning, based on experience and aimed at the pleasure of discovery, is an ancient but effective way to learn about what surrounds us and ourselves. We use the environment to explore it, to collect data, to investigate natural phenomena or to apply new concepts learned in the real world. In this way, participants can develop not only their conceptual knowledge, but also sharpen their investigative skills and competences.
