In Monza Park, you can admire this small neoclassical temple, reflected in the pond of the Royal Gardens. The Mulini Asciutti Mill Complex houses an ancient mill and is one of the various artifacts linked to agricultural production built at the beginning of the nineteenth century with the birth of the Monza Park. Designed by Giacomo Tazzini in 1833, it was built after demolishing a mill that had already been present in the area since the seventeenth century. The Mulini Asciutti complex is crossed by the supply canal derived from the Lambro river at the height of today's Osteria del Dosso and is characterized by a strong symmetrical design. Two parallel buildings arranged along the central axis of the Mulini Asciutti canal house the mill rooms on the ground floor, each of which houses three stone millstones. Also symmetrical with respect to the east-west axis determined by the course of the canal, there are two buildings once used as a warehouse/stable and barn, characterized by large brick arches.
