보비오의 폼페우스 다리(Il Ponte Gobbo di Bobbio), 일명 "악마의 다리"는 불규칙한 11개의 아치로 이루어진 273미터 길이의 중세 건축물로, 트레비아 강에 위치해 있습니다. 전설에 따르면 악마가 밤새 다리를 건설하고 첫 번째 통행인의 영혼과 거래했지만, 성 콜롬바누스가 동물을 먼저 통과시켜 악마를 속였다고 합니다.

The small sacred monument we encounter on Monte Carmo is perhaps the perfect place for a brief moment of reflection. A few years ago, Christiane Völkel commented on the wonderfully fitting sentence by the Italian poet Francesco Petrarch (who lived in the 14th century), "Everywhere one has heaven above oneself," as follows: "What is the use of prayer? This question moves me (...) I have found for myself the answer and the certainty that when I pray I am with the Lord, or rather, that when I pray he is often noticeably closer to me than usual. Thus, I retain the possibility of pouring out my heart to him (...) This intimacy with him makes me believe in him."

Climbing from Selva (a hamlet of Ferriere), keep right and continue towards the GAEP "Vincenzo Stoto" refuge (closed on September 14th) and shortly after you reach the Crociglia Pass. The final section is quite steep, but well-paved. Descent towards the southern slope towards Liguria. I recommend passing through Santo Stefano D'Aveto.

Mount Crociglia and Mount Carevolo are two of the most panoramic peaks in the entire Piacenza Apennines. Their peaks share common characteristics: first, their shape—large, grass-covered domes—and second, the lack of significant elevations in the immediate vicinity, making them exposed to the wind but also offering exceptionally beautiful viewpoints.
