This section is marked as a steep climb, but it's impassable. The roadbed is gone; the rain has washed it away, leaving only the black tarp beneath the gravel. The ties placed to drain water onto the trail look like guardrails stuck in the ground. There's no grip whatsoever for my wheels, if I had legs at all. It's also dangerous to trip over. It should be closed, fixed, and then reopened. It's not enough to put up a "steep climb" sign (you can't tell from the photos, but it really is).

In the wonderful natural landscape of Colle San Zeno the refuge has a total of 13 rooms, of which: a single room, seven double rooms, two triple rooms, a quadruple room and two rooms for eight / ten people. Each room has linen, sheets and duvets as well as a private bathroom with linen. The cuisine of the refuge is typical of the Valleys with mountain dishes, fresh homemade pasta and products at km0. Contacts for reservations: tel. 349.8153089 - ottelig@gmail.com Rates starting from: € 25.00 per night per person with breakfast, € 45.00 per night per person in half board, € 60.00 per night per person in full board. Opening period: all year round by reservation Networks and connections: minimum GSM coverage inside the structure, discreet outside - works are underway to offer free wifi service For cyclists: there is a bicycle storage area with a bench for small repairs and a pressure washer to wash the bicycles. The refuge can be easily reached by ebike from Bovegno, Zone and Montecampione; or with MTB from the Trompia Valley. Erected in 1500 with Renaissance lines and late Gothic elements. The frescoes inside are attributable to Floriano Ferramola, a well-known Brescian painter of the time, of exquisite workmanship. Worth a visit, unfortunately the opening hours are short. The anniversary of the building's consecration is celebrated on the third weekend of September.
