Bivacco Valzaroten is located in the upper part of Val Canè, in Lombardy, and is an ideal base for hikers and mountain lovers. Located at about 2210 meters above sea level, it offers a spectacular view of the northern foothills of Adamello. The bivouac was created from an old farmhouse and is equipped with five beds, tables with benches, a stove with a gas cylinder, a sink with fresh water, a stove with wood and cabinets with dishes. It is a perfect place for those looking for an immersive experience in nature, with the possibility of spotting ibex, deer and marmots. The excursion to reach the bivouac starts from Canè, crossing woods and clearings until reaching the basin where the Pietra Rossa lakes are located. The route is challenging but very suggestive, with breathtaking views along the way.

a stop in this large refuge run by volunteers from the Mato Grosso is a must reasonable prices, generous portions, delicious cakes. The proceeds go to charity. The guys are all super nice and easy going! possibility of taking different walks from easy to more challenging! Not to be missed

The Schiazzera refuge is an excellent summer and early autumn refreshment point (in 2023 it is open until the third week of September, on weekends). There are tables where you can take a break while looking at the view or when it is open you can eat excellent dishes cooked by the volunteers who run the refuge. Very recommended as a point of passage or even of arrival (you can stay overnight, with reservation).

The Schiazzera Refuge is located at 2,079 meters above sea level, at the entrance to the beautiful Val Saiento. Here you can enjoy all the hospitality of a traditional alpine refuge: the welcoming environment and the hosts will make you feel at home. The trails around the refuge are not technical and develop on soft terrain, a real pleasure for running.

We stayed here overnight on our Alpine Cross, it was fantastic, the peace and seclusion. In the valley you feel like you have been transported to another time. The hut owner Allesandro is super nice and takes great care of his guests. It was an unforgettable experience.

The Malga Stain refuge is run by kind and competent people. You eat very well and you can stay in small stone and wood houses. The natural terrace on which the refuge stands is beautiful and from here there is a wonderful view of the valley and the surrounding mountains.
