Road impassable due to a landslide and ongoing construction (August/September 2025) You can ascend by crossing the landslide via a small dirt road.

After a long career focused on painting, Anna Chromy has devoted her work to sculpture, mostly in bronze. Passionate about dance and music, she translates the power and movement of dance into dynamic sculptures. Her figures come to life and communicate melody and movement. Her creative universe oscillates between these two perceptive poles, touch and hearing. Her creations move yet remain still in an eternal repetition, a symbol of human life. The monumental frame by American sculptor Nall, which dominates the entrance to Via Mazzini-Piazza Crispi as you approach from the Piazza Statuto parking lot, has returned to its original location. Since its installation in 2006, it has become one of the historic center's main artistic attractions. The sculpture has undergone a delicate restoration by the Fonderia Versiliese. Donated to the city of Pietrasanta by the Alabama State Council on the Arts, the large frame is once again in perfect condition. The planned careful but rapid conservation restoration, which lasted about a month, was also completed. The frame was placed on a new base at street level.
