When we visited in winter, it was almost completely frozen, but not entirely, which suggests that there's something keeping it warmer than freezing. Perhaps it's a geothermal source or seabed fermentation?

Visited in the winter, it's a true paradise. You'll encounter very few (if any) people. Be aware that your smartphone doesn't work with any carrier, so you have to be careful, otherwise you won't be able to communicate.

The bivouac is well-maintained and in a great location. Unfortunately, I encountered a rainy day with low clouds.
