이손초 강을 건너는 좋은 길입니다. 차선이 매우 좁고 교통량이 항상 많기 때문에 측면에 있는 보행자 다리를 이용해 건너는 것을 추천합니다.

This is an old bridge that is not very wide and is very busy. I recommend walking along the sidewalk.

Turquoise water and a peaceful valley — the Isonzo is a reward after long kilometers. Cross, breathe, and enjoy the sense of moving from one world into the next. Explore Freedom was a project by ROSE Bikes. A unique adventure that celebrates the joy of connecting with people through cycling, the spirit of discovering the unknown together, and the privilege of crossing borders in Europe with ease. While the project is over, the checkpoints remain for you to explore. https://www.komoot.com/de-de/collection/3918913/-explore-freedom

🛤️ Via Sacra – The Sacred Way Origin: The present-day Via Sacra was created as a footpath in 1934, but follows the course of the ancient riverbed of the Natisone and Torre rivers. Function: Connects the Basilica of Santa Maria Assunta with the river port and the excavation sites of Fondo Cossar and Fondo Pasqualis. Atmosphere: Lined with cypress trees, with exposed reliefs, inscriptions, and port structures – an archaeological walk through the Roman trading world. ⚓ Ancient River Port (Porto Fluviale) Location: Along the Via Sacra, on the western bank of the former river. Size: Over 380 meters of preserved quays – one of the best-preserved Roman inland ports in Europe. Structure: Two levels of quays – for different water levels and ship types. Mooring loops: Stone blocks with holes drilled for mooring boats. Warehouses (Horrea): Directly behind the quays, with ramps leading into the city. Traces of play: Board games carved into the stone by dockworkers – a charming detail of everyday life. 🧱 Traces of defense Late antique walls: From the 4th century onwards, the port facilities were integrated into the city's defenses – with towers and reinforcements. Sieges: Evidence of reconstruction during the attacks by Maximinus Thrax (238 AD) and Julian the Apostate (361 AD)

Strassoldo is a medieval village included in the 2019 list of the "Borghi più belli d'Italia" (Most Beautiful Villages in Italy). With its two castles, Strassoldo represents a rare example of a well-preserved medieval village of exceptional charm. The Strassoldo family is one of the few examples of feudal lords who have remained in possession of the castles since their foundation and continue to inhabit them to this day. The castles can be entered through two entrance gates, and the paths inside are paved. The village surrounding the castle has continually expanded and has been well preserved and restored. Two mills with working wheels are particularly charming, one of which dates back to the 12th century and has been in operation for over seven hundred years.
