Cipressa is a climb located in the Imperia region. This climb is 5.6 kilometers long, with a positive elevation gain of 231 meters. Cipressa has an average gradient of 4.1%. The highest point is 241 meters above sea level. This is a legendary route in the Milan-San Remo classic.

Imperia Porto Maurizio railway station was one of two railway stations serving the city and commune of Imperia, in Liguria, northwestern Italy. It opened in 1872 and closed in December 2016. The railway tracks, converted into a cycle path, allow you to cross the city via tunnels. (Equip yourself with lights for safety). You can stop at the station bar to recharge your batteries.

The cycle path runs along the coast and offers wonderful views of the sea. The path is paved throughout. In December 2023 there were short diversions at two construction sites, apart from that the cycle path is separated from motorized traffic. Highly recommended for relaxed rounds, but understandably well attended.

Located close to the sea and built on the site of the old railway, the cycle path that connects various towns on the Riviera di Ponente, including Sanremo, is perfect for anyone who wants to cycle safely. It is always very popular, even with families and children. The Giro d'Italia began here in 2015, with a team time trial between San Lorenzo al Mare and Sanremo.
