A very beautiful path, cool in the heat and pleasant to walk.

The Partschinser Waalweg is one of the oldest Waalweg in the Burggrafenamt. This was built in the 15th century by the counts of Spikeburg and is therefore half a millennium old. Today it is still used to irrigate the Partschins orchards and is surrounded by sparse birch groves and rich vegetation. At the eastern end of the Waalweg you can see a prehistoric residential stone and a prehistoric bowl stone (Copper Age). Great hiking trail along the stream leads to the Patschins waterfall and Waalweg.

Small waterfall that wets the steep rock face. The water comes from the Zielspitze, as does the next waterfall that flows into the Lahnbach.

Great suspension bridge over the Schnalzerbach, which rushes down under the bridge.

Here at the end of the lake we cross the Schnalser Bach on a beautiful suspension bridge. Certainly one of the highlights on the circular route around the Vernagt reservoir.

Can be run great even in warmer temperatures because it is partly in the shade
