The cycle path is very well developed and therefore easy to ride. But there are almost no rest stops. In the sweltering heat, there is no chance of resting in the shade. There is a nice spot right next to the motorway and I would not recommend it. I would not ride this cycle path again. It runs for a long time behind Bolzano right next to the motorway and is very loud.

Beautiful mountain refuge nestled among all the peaks, classic style, with breathtaking views of the surrounding peaks. I recommend a visit if you are in the area 😍🤩

The tour initially leads through a landscape characterized by orchards and vineyards. Salurn on the Wine Route is the southernmost municipality in South Tyrol and also the largest white wine-growing region in South Tyrol. The historic town center of Salorno is characterized by its buildings with magnificently decorated facades and archways. You can linger here for a while. The Etschtal narrows here to the Salurner Klause and the German-speaking area ends here.
