Coopattiva is a mixed-use social cooperative (A+B), active since 1984, with a major operational headquarters in Nonantola (Modena). 🌱 In Nonantola: the "Natura che cura" project Since 2018, Coopattiva has been managing the "Natura che cura" project in Nonantola, a social agriculture initiative spanning approximately 2.5 hectares. It includes a forest, a community garden, fruit trees, aromatic herbs, and green areas accessible to the community. The workshop offers up to 12 job placement programs and up to 5 social and occupational programs per day, led by dedicated educational staff. The goal is to promote social inclusion and well-being through agricultural activities with therapeutic and relational purposes. The church of San Giorgio, in the center of Modena, stands on an ancient medieval church, which has been mentioned since 1189. It belongs to the diocese of Modena and the current project is attributed to the ducal court architect Gaspare Vigarani. The main altar in polychrome marble from 1666 is the work of Antonio Loraghi and contains the image of the "Madonna Help of Christians of the Modenese people", the work of Pietro Paolo dell'Abate (1617).
