The Ödland Chapel is a true gem in the Hotzenwald Forest and boasts a rich history. At the end of the 18th century, the farmers of Bergaling built a small chapel here in gratitude after their village was spared from the rinderpest epidemic. Following a fire in 1897, the current stone pilgrimage chapel, dedicated to the Holy Cross, was built. A particularly atmospheric feature: every year on the first Sunday in September, a pilgrimage service brings life to this special place.

Much more pleasant than the course of the main road. If you're feeling adventurous.....near the path there is a fountain where refreshments are available all year round 😉. I wish you every success in FIND.
