Visible from afar, this shrine dominates a suggestive landscape of vineyards and rolling hills, a crossing point between the Alta Langa and the most famous Langa, that of the vineyards. The climb from Bastia Mondovì is gradual and never extreme, the landscape that gradually widens then repays the efforts. Bring water supplies because there is none to be found, furthermore the exposure of the road is almost all to the South. The visit to the shrine repays the small detour necessary to reach it.

The Castle of Carrù is an ancient fortress located in the city of Carrù, in the province of Cuneo. Dating back to the 12th century, the castle was built to defend the city from enemy attacks and has undergone numerous transformations over the centuries. In addition to its history, Castello di Carrù is also famous for the legend of the Blue Lady, a ghost who is said to still appear in the castle today. The castle is open to the public and can be visited during some Carruccesi events, such as the Grape Festival, and the surrounding area offers various activities, including excursions on foot and by bicycle, visits to wine cellars and tastings of local products.

In the heart of the historic centre, in Piazza San Paolo, the ancient Prato del Convento. It is 54 meters high (dome), 46 long and 23 wide. The construction of such a majestic temple was possible thanks to the generosity of the Doglianesi and, above all, of a great local architect, Giovanni Battista Schellino.
