The Fisherman's Path is certainly one of the most representative paths of the Fossanese path along the Stura river. It is a 9 km loop track that can be traveled in both directions.
The starting point is the panoramic Viale Mellano, in the heart of the historic center of Fossano, from which you can reach the river and the surrounding countryside. The route, half on asphalt and half on dirt path, does not present particular difficulties and is also suitable for children.
The most interesting passage is certainly the platform of the railway bridge over the Stura river. Thanks to two spiral staircases and a covered walkway of 200 meters, it offers a spectacular panorama.

Spiral staircase impassable with e-bikes. Perhaps with a normal bike, but in any case be prepared for a grind... if you decide not to climb the ladder, it's better to go back and cross the bridge in via Mondovì. Continuing towards the Parco della Rossa means dragging your bike up the long and very steep tree trunk staircase that goes around the pillar of the bridge ... it's not worth it for the effort you have to do ...
