Beautiful descent to do at full speed.

Nice road away from traffic.

Alpe Merdenzone is not a specific location but refers to the context of the Alpeggio del Merdenzone, a mountain area and Monte Merdenzone, a 1764 m peak in the Ligurian Alps.

It was done uphill. The road downhill isn't as nice and clean (as far as the surface is concerned).

From Prato Nevoso you can get there by descending the Strada della Penna, after a stretch of about 800 meters that goes up with gradients of up to 18%, a wonderful corner that does not seem to be affected by the proximity to the facilities, from which extraordinary views open up over the valley below.

from this track you go up above the square of the hill, until you reach the area of the slopes and a panoramic point, shame about the clouds that blocked our view. certainly the horror created by the plants and annexed residential buildings is shocking, a truly distressing place from various points of view. an invitation to review our idea of development

The first stretch is harder, average 8% for 2.5 km, then the climb becomes easier until San Giacomo. Very beautiful hamlets that you cross, at the roundabout where you turn off for San Giacomo there is also a fountain
