Via Rudigliano is officially closed to traffic due to poor road conditions and the risk of landslides (currently October 2025), but the road surface is passable (MTB and gravel bikes definitely, but I won't comment on road bikes). However, caution and respect for signage are recommended. 😉 It's 1.2 km long, with an average gradient of 13.5% and a maximum gradient of around 20%.

Location as already described.

Situated at 400 metres above sea level on a tuff ridge between the valleys of the Rabbi and Bidente Ronco rivers, it is a destination to be conquered by all bikers. It can be reached from Meldola, Predappio or Forlì with various routes through vineyards and cultivated fields with breathtaking views and with sections of slopes of up to 14%.

The climb and the town are quite popular with local cyclists, the climbs are not demanding and several road and gravel tours pass through them.

The Anello del Sale cycle path with a total cost of 2,500,000 euros will develop on the external perimeter of the salt mine, flanking the Camillo and continuing alongside the provincial road 254 up to the Hotel Ficocle, skirting the Cervara up to the surrounding canal, continuing along via dei Prati up to via Ficocle and flowing into the intersection with the SS 16 up to the Saline visitor center, with work scheduled to be completed by the end of 2025. 🤔.
