몬테그로소 피안 라떼 최고의 워킹 & 하이킹 경로

The small church of San Lorenzo and Rocco was renovated in 2025. Many places in the area are dedicated to San Rocco, who most likely passed through Liguria on his way from Montpellier to Rome. San Rocco is invoked as a protector against the plague; the small church was most likely used to shelter plague victims (quarantine) before they could return to their hometowns.

Malga di Case Fascei (divided into two small lower and upper sections). Once used by shepherds who spent part of the spring and autumn here, most of it has now been beautifully restored for residential use. Accessible on foot, by bike, or by car (paved road from Montegrosso Pian Latte). A starting point or stopover for numerous hikes, or simply to relax while enjoying the view of the peaks of the Mongioie mountain range on one side and the Riviera sea on the other.

It's still fun to go down to the waterfall. There are lots of big rocks to climb. Slippery here and there.

Easy hiking trail with beautiful views.

The path is dangerous and has been closed since 2020. You should be sure-footed and not afraid of heights.

The bridge looks very unstable. It's better not to look too closely. Below the bridge there are several nice swimming spots on the river.
