The Alferello Falls, also known as the Trout Falls, are a natural wonder located in the village of Alfero, in the heart of the Tuscan-Romagnolo Apennines, in the province of Forlì-Cesena. The waterfall has a drop of about 32 meters and offers a breathtaking spectacle, framed by the greenery of the surrounding forests.

The source of the Tiber river is located on the slopes of Mount Fumaiolo at 1,268 meters above sea level, on the side that faces Tuscany, near Le Balze, a hamlet of the municipality of Verghereto (in the province of Forlì-Cesena).
