Small ice cream parlor with delicious ice cream or a quick espresso - centrally located at the intersection in Bibbona.

The Teatro del Silenzio is an open-air amphitheater created in 2006 thanks to Andrea Bocelli, originally from Lajatico, who convinced the municipality to create this evocative space immersed in the hilly landscape. The natural scenography is enriched by blocks of Tuscan travertine, while the stalls, dismantled during periods of inactivity, give way to an enchanting artificial lake. A unique place, where art and nature merge in a silence full of emotion.

Highly recommended visit. Bibbona is a small, charming hilltop village dating back to the Middle Ages (as demonstrated by the characteristic buildings and streets of the historic centre), which allows you to make excursions by bike or on foot towards Casale Marittimo, Guardistallo and Montescudaio to the north, Bolgheri and Castagneto Carducci to the south, the Macchia della Magona to the east and the tomboli of Cecina on the coast to the west. Apart from this last direction, all the others have nice ups and downs, but the roads, as well as being secondary and therefore with little traffic, offer a typically Tuscan landscape. In the villages there are fountains and refreshment points, however it is a good idea to have a supply of water

The typical medieval village of Bibbona, characterized by narrow alleys, stairways and arches, which take us back in time, stands a few km from the sea, surrounded by the characteristic hill villages of Bolgheri, Castagneto Carducci, Campiglia... The town has ancient Etruscan origins, to which an original bronze statuette of a goat dates back, which became the symbol of the town and is now preserved in the Archaeological Museum of Florence. In its small center we find the Castle of Bibbona, enclosed by majestic walls and the Parish Church of Sant'Ilario, attested since 1175 and enlarged in the following centuries, which constitutes one of the few Romanesque churches preserved in this area, the only one to have survived from the wars and raids of the Saracen pirates. It was built with local sandstone and contains a marble holy water stoup and some 16th century paintings, including a canvas depicting Saint Hilary and Saint Bartholomew.

Stretch of beach that requires you to get off your bike in some places, but it's worth it for a dip
