A small town in the Province of Teramo, between the Piomba and Vomano valleys. It still retains its medieval walls.

The building, indicated by popular belief as the "house of Pontius Pilate", has inside a well connecting to a qanat, that is, an underground hydraulic system, with characteristics completely analogous to a water supply system that brings water from a spring from Etam to Jerusalem. Bisenti is a municipality in the Fino Valley. Historical traces identify the house of Pontius Pilate in the settlement of the ancient Roman city of Beregra (now Bisenti).
