The village of Poggio Umbricchio is located in the municipality of Crognaleto. You can reach it by turning off the Gran Sasso State Road 80. The small village preserves a milestone from the ancient Via Cecilia, in the church of Santa Maria Lauretana.

Fonte Vecchia (once called dei Cappuccini), a fountain located in a large open space adjacent to the old slaughterhouse and one of the old mills of Montorio. This fountain preserves a mask, surmounted by a shell, from which water for domestic use flows, as well as a washhouse and a drinking trough for animals.

Very scenic. The only flaw is that there are often tents to put it back in place, so you may not always be able to see it. In all other cases it is very suggestive.
