마옐라 국립공원의 오르펜토 계곡은 아브루초에서 가장 멋진 협곡 중 하나입니다. 오르펜토 강은 버드나무, 양치류, 이끼로 뒤덮인 좁은 협곡을 조각했습니다. 이 지역은 카라마니코 테르메에서 접근할 수 있는 공식 산책로 네트워크로 교차됩니다. 성수기에는 덜 알려진 이웃 마을인 데콘트라에 주차할 수도 있으며, 이곳에는 넓은 주차 공간이 있어 계곡의 순환 코스를 시작할 수 있습니다.

Decontra는 Pescara 지역의 Caramanico Terme 시에 속한 작은 마을로, 두 개의 은둔지(Eremo di Santo Spirito a Majella 및 Eremo di San Bartolomeo in Legio)를 도는 순환 코스와 Orfento 계곡의 순환 코스 모두에 훌륭한 출발점입니다. 두 코스를 합치면 약 34km이며, 상당한 고도 차이(약 1300m)가 있습니다.
