물론 이곳은 비스 교회(Wieskirche)가 아니라 성 요한 세례자(St. Johannes Baptist) 교구 교회가 있는 베소브룬 수도원(Kloster Wessobrunn)입니다. 교구 교회는 18세기에 설립되었지만, 수도원 교회는 세속화 이후 19세기에 파괴되었습니다. 수도원 정원의 마리아 동굴(Mariengrotte) 방향에 있는 기념비가 이를 기억하고 있습니다.

You can tell that the satellite dishes are a bit old (the Raisting earth station has existed since 1963, so for more than 60 years); nevertheless, the facility is still in operation (except for the dish in the radome) and is worth a look. Guided tours are also offered at certain times; however, we only ever visited when there were no tours.

요하네스 예배당은 한때 순례지 교회였으며, 전설에 따르면 타실로 공작이 8세기에 설립했다고 하지만, 1428년 신축 건물 봉헌 시에야 문서상으로 언급됩니다. 이 신축 건물의 잔해는 성가대석의 벽돌 구조물에 아직 남아 있습니다. 제단에는 세례자 요한의 성화상이 있으며, 그의 양옆에는 부모인 엘리자베스와 사카리아스가 있습니다. 제단은 이곳에서 솟아나는 샘 위에 세워졌습니다. 이 예배당은 처음부터 "Auf Heiligenstätten" (성스러운 장소에)라는 별칭을 가지고 있었으며, 오늘날에도 여전히 그렇게 불리고 있습니다.

Info The well house of the former monastery in Wessobrunn, a municipality in the Upper Bavarian district of Weilheim-Schongau, was built in 1735. The well house at Klosterhof 12 is a protected architectural monument. The well house with a gable roof has three spring basins.

Built between 1745 and 1754 by Dominikus Zimmermann, it has been a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 1983. Every year, the Wieskirche attracts around a million visitors from all over the world. It is known for its elaborate stucco decorations and ceiling paintings, among other things. In the summer, concerts are also regularly held in the Wieskirche.
