웅장한 슈타우펜 성은 13세기에 황제 프리드리히 2세가 노르만 성 유적 위에 세워졌습니다. 넓은 복합 단지는 나중에 앙주 가문에 의해 확장된 900m 길이와 최대 13m 높이의 성벽으로 깊은 인상을 줍니다. 외부 지역과 눈에 띄는 탑은 약 3유로의 입장료로 대부분 방문할 수 있습니다.

산타 마리아 아순타 대성당은 고딕 양식의 바실리카 미노르로, 풀리아 지역에서 이렇게 변형되지 않은 모습으로 보는 것은 매우 드물며 이탈리아에서 가장 남쪽에 있는 고딕 양식 벽돌 교회로 간주됩니다. 이름은 14세기 어두운 나무로 조각하고 금박을 입힌 성모 마리아 조각상에서 유래했으며, 앙주 가문이 남부 이탈리아에서 슈타우펜 가문을 상대로 거둔 승리를 기념하기 때문에 '마돈나 델라 비토리아(Madonna della vittoria)'라는 별칭을 가지고 있습니다. 오른쪽 예배당에는 14세기 라인란트 출신의 십자가상이 있습니다.
