To your west lies the 67-hectare protected forest "Schwarzheide." It preserves a characteristic section of the forest landscapes of East Brandenburg and allows them to develop naturally from the banks of the Spree River to the terminal moraine. Furthermore, it protects the functioning of the natural environment and provides valuable habitat for rare plants and animals. At the same time, this natural forest serves as an important site for long-term research, environmental monitoring, and the practical application of knowledge for both teaching and practical application.

Alwine is a small country house with many possibilities. Located directly on the Spree River, it's a romantic hideaway for those tired of the big city, a base camp for active vacationers, and a stopover for hikers, cyclists, or canoeists. A café, a small, cozy wellness area, and a garden pool await you. And plenty of nature all around. Anyone who just stops by for coffee and cake is warmly welcome.

Erika Doberstein created the "Spreefrau" market fountain on the market square in Beeskow in 2004/05. The special feature of this fountain is a specific suction process in which the water is in a constant cycle. Fresh water is only added when needed.

The Schlaubetal is an idyllic natural paradise in Brandenburg, known for its untouched landscape, dense forests and clear streams. It offers hikers and nature lovers an oasis of peace and relaxation. The numerous mills along the Schlaube, which keep the history of the region alive, are particularly attractive. The Schlaubetal combines nature conservation and gentle tourism in a harmonious way.

Nice resting place for a short break and a snack. Thanks to the roof, it is also somewhat protected from the rain!
