The church of Santa Maria di Loreta was built between 1520 and 1524 and features some beautiful frescoes and stucco work. The rather atypical external shape of the church resulted from various renovations and additions over the years.

Small lake worth visiting. There are paths and wooden walkways, easily passable. Be careful when wet! However, the tour of the lake is short and it is worth slowing down or perhaps using this area to take a rest stop.

The Capuchin monastery was founded in 1535 as the first of its kind in Switzerland. The complex is laid out in terraces and has been expanded several times over the centuries. Close to Alpe Maria Santa, the area is very beautiful on a naturalistic level and offers a crossroads. Once the asphalt is over, any other route you choose is dirt, therefore not suitable for all bikes. Mostly they are wide forest roads but at some connection points there are paths that may require pushing the bike.

Not far from the center of Lugano, it is worth a visit. A small Basilica that was born where once there was only a small chapel, which then evolved from 1700 to the present day.

Old tram route from Canobio to Tesserete - the route is only really closed to traffic on two sections, but the entire marked section runs on the old route (partly a road through residential areas).
