Tiriolo is the land of two seas: from the top of the town, from the Castle Park, you can clearly see the boundary of the Calabrian emerged lands that winds between the Ionian and Tyrrhenian seas. A unique emotion! But Tiriolo is also a center rich in history and traditions where some of the best Calabrian artisans live: potters like Corrado Rotundo, weavers like Mirella Leone and luthiers like Tommaso Leone. The Regional Costume Museum and the Antiquarium are very interesting, as well as the magnificent historical centre.

Villaggio Mancuso is a tourist center built in the 1930s which features pleasant mountain architecture with wooden huts. Among the buildings stands out the Grande Albergo delle Fate, unfortunately currently disused, but a place full of history: it has hosted actors and illustrious people and has been chosen as the set for many film productions.

Taverna is a splendid town which was the birthplace of the famous seventeenth-century painter Mattia Preti, whose numerous works it houses in the churches and the civic museum. Absolutely unmissable.

This stretch of road is truly spectacular and exciting to ride on your own bike, whatever it is. The surface is paved and the road crosses a stretch of spectacular vegetation: you'll feel like you're pedaling inside a painting.

This is Taverna, a small Italian town in the province of Catanzaro in Calabria. The village is located on the slopes of the mountains that make up the Sila Park. If you are crossing the Calabria Region along its "Parchi Calabria" cycle route I recommend a short stop here. A charging station for electric bicycles has been positioned in the center of the village, here you will also find some tools for maintaining your bike.
