The Sanctuary of the Madonna di Polsi, nestled in the heart of Aspromonte at 862 m above sea level, is a sacred place in Calabria, a destination for pilgrims from spring to October.

A half-hour hike with a view

Beautiful waterfalls in the heart of the wildest Aspromonte Park. In summer it is very likely to find people here who refresh themselves in the waters of these waterfalls.

Following a landslide in 1973, the Fiumara Bonamico was blocked by debris and Lake Costantino was formed. However, over time this large basin became silted up, almost completely disappearing. Every time there was a strong storm, in fact, the sediments dragged by the water went to settle on the seabed, consequently reducing its capacity. Today, a very small portion remains.

Montalto is the highest peak of Aspromonte. It is located at an altitude of 1956 meters and there is a statue dedicated to Christ the Redeemer (destroyed twice by lightning and then rebuilt).

The Canovai Hut is currently out of use and under construction following a fire in 2015.
