Via della Calagrande is a quiet, gently rising street west of Cefalù's historic center. It offers one of the most beautiful viewpoints of the city, the Tyrrhenian Sea, and the striking rock formation "La Rocca." Especially at sunset, a spectacular panorama unfolds here, captivating photographers and nature lovers alike. A walk along Via della Calagrande takes you through a picturesque landscape of Mediterranean vegetation and continually opens up new perspectives of Cefalù and the surrounding coast. From this stretch of the road you can see the remains of the imposing monastery of San Giorgio. It is worth making the short detour downhill to see it up close. It is also a great place to camp, a truly special location.

Just a few bends above the town of Gratteri, from the path that enters the Madonie Park, you can enjoy a wide view of the coast. On clear days you can see Palermo and Capo Gallo.
