    If you come to Cefalù, don't miss its cathedral: a true masterpiece of Arab-Norman art. The interior houses marvelous Byzantine mosaics, including the famous Christ Pantocrator. It has been a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 2015.

      Cefalù is a delightful Norman town lying on the shores of a very blue sea and dominated by a fortress so famous as to be known simply as… the Rocca. Easily accessible by train, it is the perfect destination for a day trip from Palermo, for a holiday of a few days or as a base for exploring the nearby Aeolian Islands, but in our opinion once you arrive in Cefalù you will never want to leave.
