The view of the Bembézar River from the Sanctuary of the Angels in Hornachuelos is one of the most spectacular in the Sierra de Hornachuelos Natural Park. Although access to the sanctuary is restricted because it is private property undergoing renovation, breathtaking panoramic views can be enjoyed from the surrounding area, especially from the Angels Trail (PR-A-348).

Route PR-A-348, which leads to the Santa María de los Ángeles Seminary in Hornachuelos (Córdoba), offers truly spectacular views, especially along the stretches that border the Bembézar River.

The view of the Seminario de los Ángeles in Hornachuelos is one of the most impressive in the Sierra de Hornachuelos Natural Park, especially when viewed from the path that runs along the Bembézar River.

The viewpoint is inaccessible from the north. Since (at least) March 14, 2025, a hermetically sealed iron gate has blocked the way. There's no other option than to turn around. Very annoying.

Located between the municipalities of Hornachuelos and Espiel, this reservoir was built in the 50s of the last century. It collects the waters of numerous rivers and streams, among which the Benajarafe and the Névalo stand out, both belonging to the Guadalquivir hydrographic basin.

This small rock-cut sanctuary is located on the outskirts of the town of Hornachuelos. It is a good place to refill your water bottle and admire the care with which the altar is decorated.
