Sometimes you can see a lot of really big trout there. It's really beautiful.

It's always lovely to spend time here – countless different bird species on and around this small island.

It's kind of an idyll, especially when you pass by here in the morning.

When hikers or walkers sit on the bench located here, they have the direct protection of the Most High behind them. For there stands a small sacred monument in the form of a wayside cross bearing the body of the crucified Christ. The wooden crucifix has a gabled roof and a very small, curved back wall. The typical INRI inscription is attached to the upper section of the longitudinal beam. These four letters are an abbreviation (in Latin) for "Jesus of Nazareth, King of the Jews." These words were placed there by the Roman governor, Pontius Pilate, based on the biblical account of Jesus' crucifixion.

The view over the reservoir at sunset is absolutely breathtaking. You can capture moments in photos that always feel like a day on vacation.
