The Upper Lock is a historic timber rafting facility and a popular nature experience in the Kirnitzsch Valley, located near Hinterhermsdorf and belonging to the municipality of Sebnitz. Guests can take a 20-minute boat trip, gliding through the narrow gorge and marveling at bizarre rock formations. The tour starts after a hike from the Buchenparkhalle parking lot.
