The Flößersteig trail along the Kirnitzsch River is challenging and difficult, and only suitable for experienced hikers who have a good sense of surefootedness and a head for heights. The trail is very narrow and exposed in places, requiring a good fear of heights.

A great hiking experience, boat trip, Flöserstieg and the Kirnitschtal valley are all together an adventure with an addictive factor.

You can get out of the gorge via these stairs.

A very, very adventurous route. We were lucky that there weren't too many people on the trail and we could concentrate on the route.

With oncoming traffic long waiting times possible! Nothing for people with claustrophobia, it's really narrow, my hiking backpack was almost too wide :-(. But a beautiful view rewards everything :-)

The climb up the metal steps to the “Herrmannstiege” is absolutely unproblematic. If you want to go up the "Hermannstiege" and have a wide cross, you should really be careful here and either take the easy route or, like Klaus, climb the stairs like a crab with a backpack in front. Klaus had to go back quite a bit because his shoulders were too broad and he couldn't get any further 🫣😂 Nevertheless, he had fun 👍🤗 ⚡⚡Claustrophobia is a big issue in the stairs, because space is in absolute short supply and rather non-existent ⚡⚡
