This 600-year old-castle is Denmark's only inhabited medieval mansion. It was built from limestone from Stevns Klint and it's not open to the public, although it's possible to admire it from a distance.

From this vantage point, you have a beautiful view of the old chalk mine near the Stevns cliffs. Here, white hills and water make the landscape truly unique.

Large parts of the park are accessible to everyone. However, the entrance is not at the castle gate; instead, you have to drive a short distance along the country road next to the park.

It is worth taking a leisurely cycle through Strøby as there are beautiful houses and gardens, especially when there is a lot of blossom in late spring.

Private, but you can take a look into the courtyard.

At the end of Munkegade you will find the city gate-like water tower from 1911. The tower itself is built of chalk from Stevns Klint, but with a red brick base. Through the portal you reach the complex "Munkevænget" from the end of the 19th century. From the water tower there is a magnificent view of large areas of the Stevns Peninsula.
