As part of their HTL Hallein project, students Jakob Mayer and Samuel Steiner designed an impressive fountain for the market town of Thalgau. The 2.8-ton block of Untersberg marble was crafted according to a carefully thought-out design by the Salzburg University of Applied Sciences, Design and Product Management. The students demonstrated their skills with great precision, creating a true gem for Thalgau!

Perfalleck – Tiefbrunnau Faistenau climb is a short but sometimes very steep climb in the Salzburger Land region. The route is 0.5 kilometers long and covers 69 meters in altitude with an average gradient of 13%. The climb achieves 97 mountain points. The highest point is at 822 meters. This is also where the border between the communities of Fuschl am See and Faistenau runs. This climb can be easily integrated into a circular tour with the Postalm, which means you can avoid the federal road to the Postalm, which is particularly busy during the bathing season, at least for a few kilometers. The Perfalleckstrasse connects Fuschl am See with the town of Tiefbrunnau and offers a beautiful view of the surrounding mountains and alpine pastures.
