The Breitlahnhütte can be reached by car and from July 5th to September 7th, 2025, by the valley bus (from Stein at the Enns train station). https://www.schladming-dachstein.at/de/Service/Infos-von-A-Z/Taelerbus-Naturpark-Soelktaeler_az_848704 Good food and overnight accommodations are available: https://www.schladming-dachstein.at/de/Service/Infos-von-A-Z/Breitlahnhuette_az_340344. Easy hike to the Schwarzensee and the Putzentalalm. Several refreshment stops along the way. Beautiful scenery.

Very lovely alpine pasture with cheese production and cheese sales. The owners are all very friendly and hospitable. Their cheese specialties and buttermilk are highly recommended.

A very old and rustic Alm. But the landlady is extremely hospitable and funny. The prices are very low. It's worth coming here 🥰
