You can also get here by car. It is then about 4.5 km to the summit with a difference in altitude of about 450 meters. It is not difficult but good shoes are recommended. Eating at GH Rosstratte is also recommended.

The route to the summit of the Dobratsch, starting point at the Rosstratte car park, can be done in several ways. The easiest, however, is to follow the "normal" route. This should also be possible for inexperienced and not particularly well-equipped people. Good footwear is a must, however, as the path is partly made of coarse gravel and can be slippery, especially when going downhill. It is around 4.5 km with an elevation difference of around 450 m. The effort is definitely worth it, the view from the summit cross is fantastic.

In addition to the supply/service path, which has the character of a forest road, an alpine path, the Jägersteig, leads from the Rosstratte car park to the summit of the Dobratsch. The Jägersteig is not technically difficult, but is narrow and exposed in places. Sure-footedness and, above all, a head for heights are helpful.
