For us, this was the most beautiful place to stay overnight on the Montañas Vacías circuit! Even though we had minus 2 degrees and fog in the morning - mid-May :)

The Huelga Merendera recreational area is located next to the Gallo River in a meadow nestled in the spectacular landscape of the La Hoz ravine. Here you will find an information sign, a daytime shelter and several stone tables and benches perfect for stopping and enjoying the surroundings.
