This monument, with the name of "Coliseum Crema Marfil del Vinalopó", is built at the access to Pinoso, on the regional road that joins the cities of Elda and Jumilla. It is a roundabout of 1,100 tons of ivory cream marble, which serves as a tribute to all those people who have dedicated their lives to the natural stone sector.

This snow well is a construction of traditional architecture with great ethnographic importance. Its construction began in 1683. The snow/ice was stored for later transport to nearby towns, intended for use both in food preservation and in the field of medicine.

From its top at 1370 meters you will have amazing views of the valleys of the Altiplano de Murcia and beyond! There are many alternative paths to reach the top with more or less difficulty but all of them are very attractive. Remember to bring plenty of water and suitable footwear, if you prefer some walking sticks will always help. At the top is the mountain refuge to spend the night and enjoy wonderful sunsets and sunrises!
