3월 14, 2025, Foel Eryr Road Climb from Brynberian
The B4329 climbs up to Bwlch-gwynt ("Windy Gap"), forming the highest road pass in the Preseli Hills at an elevation of 404m. The climb from Brynberian is 4.3km in length with an average gradient of 6.4% and the steepest section around 11%. There are a lot of sheep freely crossing the road, or possibly over-taking you. Rain, mist and thick fog will frequently be experienced on this route.

Cwm-yr-Eglwys is a small hamlet on the eastern side of the Dinas headland. There is parking, toilets, a church and ice cream van (not always open) and a beach which is great for swimming and rock pools

A short, sharp climb - leading up to the village of Mathry. The village itself was a site of a former Bronze-Age defensive hill fort, acting as a perfect high point to spot an approaching enemy. Today, it's a little more quiet and the locals don't worry about that sort of thing so much.
