종종 "천 개의 도랑의 땅"이라고 불리는 드뢰믈링은 작센안할트와 니더작센의 국경에 있는 매혹적인 저지대 이탄지 풍경입니다. 2023년부터 드뢰믈링은 공식적으로 유네스코 생물권 보전지역이라는 칭호를 보유하고 있습니다. 이전에는 2019년부터 이미 국립 생물권 보전지역(작센안할트 주법에 따름)으로 인정받았습니다.

Kaiserwinkel 기념비 및 추모비(이웃 마을인 Zicherie와 함께 자주 언급됨)는 니더작센과 작센안할트 사이의 이전 동서독 국경에 있는 중요한 추모 장소입니다. 1961년 10월 12일 – 베를린 장벽 건설 후 불과 두 달 뒤 – 서독 언론인 Kurt Lichtenstein이 Kaiserwinkel 근처 국경에서 동독 국경군에게 총격을 받았습니다.

A very beautiful, somewhat secluded trail, about 500m long, with stops and seating areas along the way, and beautiful views of the surrounding countryside. You might even spot some beavers!

In the Drömling, you'll immerse yourself in a beautiful, natural, cultural landscape that's constantly changing – with ditches, fields, meadows, countless rows of trees, and hedges. Because of its 2,200 km of waterways, the Drömling is also called the "Land of a Thousand Ditches." Standing in the middle of it all on this wooden walkway, you'll be standing right there. The diverse landscape offers one of the last refuges for many rare and endangered animal and plant species. Bring your binoculars to observe the birds in the biosphere reserve. Approximately 2,200 kilometers of waterways run through the Drömling region, which is why it is also called the "Land of a Thousand Ditches." The UNESCO Biosphere Reserve provides a habitat for numerous rare and endangered animal and plant species. The area of the biosphere reserve extends over 450 square kilometers from the southwestern edge of the Altmark region along the Mittelland Canal to the northwest of Saxony-Anhalt. In addition to the waterways, the landscape is characterized by deciduous forests, meadows, fields, and moors.
