Pass along the path between Cannalonga and Rofrano, also known as the Sentiero del Maestro. At this crossroads you can continue along the path or deviate towards Passo della Beta and the summit of Monte Gelbison, or proceed towards Scanno Chiuso to descend to Novi Velia.

The Passo della Beta is a pass immersed in the beech wood of Monte Gelbison, located at about 1300 meters above sea level below the summit. From here begins the last stretch of climb that leads to the top, or it can also be reached from other paths that start from Cannalonga or Rofrano.

On the top of Monte Gelbison at 1705 m asl is the sanctuary of the Madonna del Monte Sacro, a destination for pilgrimages and devotions. From here you can enjoy a spectacular panorama, and the path to get there is almost entirely in the shade in the woods, therefore suitable even on the hottest days.

Within the La Pineta Nature Trail there are various areas equipped for rest and display boards with didactic-explanatory content. The path is well maintained and develops within the dense Palinuro pine forest.

The lighthouse, symbol of Palinuro, is one of the highest in Italy with its 70 meters of height. It cannot be visited inside as it is a military zone, but from here you can enjoy a breathtaking view of the gulf and the coast of Capo Palinuro.

Punta Iacco is one of the points that form the promontory of Capo Palinuro. It is a cliff overlooking the sea, it offers a breathtaking view of the sea and the coast, and can be reached with the Sentieri della Primula or dei Fortini e delle Torri.
