This trail across Gravhøe above Haverdalen provides sublime views across the mountains. The Stygghøin massif and other Rondane peaks are seen close at hand while, elsewhere, the landscapes are gentler.

Great view after long climb, well marked trail

Perfect place for walking tours to Rondane Nationalpark or to the Dovre Nationalpark. Good for bikers through Grimsdalen (loading for E-bikes)

Haverdalseter is a guarded hut which has an accommodation and catering offer. In a very picturesque setting, the cabin can accommodate up to 50 people. During the high season, make sure you have a place by making a reservation.

The Storrvatnet is one of the large lakes that inhabit Rondane. On its shore, you can observe red huts of falun, endemic to the huts of the Nordic countries.

Grimsdalshytta is a guarded lodge located between Rondane and Dovre National Parks. It serves as an excellent base camp for exploring both parks. The lodge has 54 beds in two- and four-bed rooms. Traditional Norwegian cuisine is served throughout the day. Please call ahead to reserve a spot.
