산장치고는 음식이 꽤 괜찮은 편, 특히 치즈케이크, 애플파이 같은 달콤한 간식이 좋고 가격도 적당합니다. 성수기에는 꽤 붐비므로 숙박은 미리 예약하는 것이 좋습니다. 날씨가 좋으면 타트라 산맥의 아름다운 전망을 무료로 감상하며 야외에서 식사를 즐길 수 있습니다.

Efficient service, good food

The views of the Tatra Mountains from this mountain hut are jaw-dropping. It's located at the intersection of many trails, including those to Kudłoń, Stare Wierchy, and, of course, nearby Turbacz. Food and drink are available, of course, and accommodations are available too. It's a fantastic place.

Wikipedia says that this peak is "not very outstanding", but I don't know: there are beautiful views of the Gorce Mountains here - just look at the photos: is it not very outstanding?

Turbacz is the highest peak in the Gorce Mountains, measuring 1310 m above sea level, popular with tourists at any time of year. At the top there is a shelter with a beautiful view of the Tatras, which is a great place to rest after a hike. The trails leading to Turbacz are well marked, but due to the elevation gain and length of the routes, it is worth stocking up on solid trekking shoes.

A symbolic monument commemorating the crash stands along the red hiking trail, running from the PTTK mountain hut in Stare Wierchy to the PTTK mountain hut in Turbacz. It consists of fragments of the plane's wreckage – a sheet of sheet metal, a round shield with the Red Cross symbol, and a piece of the propeller are attached to an openwork cross. On May 25, 1973, a Let L-200 Morava ambulance plane was transporting a sick child to Nowy Targ. The flight took place in difficult weather conditions, with heavy snowfall. The mother of the transported child died as a result of the crash. The pilot suffered a serious spinal injury, while the child was not seriously injured.
