The Sießen Monastery is the motherhouse of the Franciscan Sisters of Sießen. The complex consists of a church, cloister, gardens and various buildings, and remains a place of prayer and encounter to this day.

A statue of Francis of Assisi depicts the founder of the Franciscan Order and holds religious and symbolic significance. He lived from 1181/1182 to 1226. He founded the Franciscan Order and consciously lived in poverty, simplicity, and closeness to nature. His model was the life of Jesus Christ in humility and charity.

Sießen Abbey is a historic place of peace and contemplation, reflecting the religious and cultural life of past centuries. Particular highlights include the Hummel Hall, the St. Francis Garden, and the Baroque church. After exploring the abbey grounds, the abbey café invites visitors to relax, enjoy coffee, and savor homemade cakes.

The birch-lined avenue provides shade in summer, while the rural idyll of the Sießen meadows stretches out between the trees. Storks and cows can often be observed here.

Six thermal pools, heated to up to 41 degrees Celsius, offer sulfurous healing waters for soothing relaxation. Four traditional saunas also provide a wonderful opportunity to sweat it out.

A wonderful race track with new asphalt and no traffic. A great alternative to the Hausener Landstraße, which runs parallel to the east.
