On the Hammer Hügel the mountain bike route leads through forests, meadows and heath. The route is 13 km long and consists of two loops; the western loop is difficult but short, while the eastern loop is long but lighter. Both loops come together about 1 km before the starting point.

From this hill grave, which is a bit off the path, you have a beautiful view over the landscape of the juniper heather.

This rock monument was donated by grateful students and friends in memory of Harald Branth.

A herd of wild Dülmen horses lives in the area. These animals support here with the maintenance of the landscape and nature conservation work. By biting bushes and trees and by their steps and dust bathing, they keep the areas free from growth and shrubbery.
