처음에는 통나무 운하가 분수령을 넘는다는 표현이 모호해서 나무를 수문으로 올려야 하는지 궁금했습니다. 이제 이해했습니다: 운하는 오스트리아에서 떨어진 보헤미안 숲 쪽의 경사면을 따라 거의 수평으로 이어집니다. 그리고 이 지점에서 보헤미안 숲의 능선이 옆으로 멀리 내려오고 운하는 (길쭉한) 산 주위로 돌아갑니다. (그리고 여전히 약간 내리막길이지만 분수령을 넘습니다...) 얼마 지나지 않아 St. Oswald를 지나 Haslach 방향으로 훨씬 더 가파르게 내려갑니다. 1790년대였다는 것을 생각하면 정말 매혹적인 건축물입니다!
