The Maudacher Bruch is an arm of the Old Rhine that was separated long ago and has meadows, swamps and jungle. It's a landscape you wouldn't expect near an industrial city.
Highest point in Ludwigshafen – 125 meters high. Rubble mountain in the Maudacher Bruch with a beautiful view of Ludwigshafen, the suburbs and towards the Palatinate.
The large circular route of 11 km, which is shown in red on the map, can be easily cycled. The Holz'scher pond can be explored from three sides by bike.
Small festival area with hall - which is used by the Maudacher clubs for their celebrations in summer. There is also a nice playground right next to the fairground. Start and finish of the Ludwigshafen New Year's Run.
